Sorrento Skatepark, located on Morce Avenue just behind the main street (down the hill next to the footy oval), is a compact, L-shaped street-style park.
At one end, you’ll find a wide quarter pipe, with part of it featuring a setback extension (without a platform). From there, the park drops down about a foot, leading into a flat-down rail and a double-sided hubba/ledge topped with marble. This section opens up into a multi-directional bank, which links to a steep metal-edged bank offering both small and large options. The smaller side also doubles as a manual pad.
Skaters can either finish their line by airing out onto the rubber matting or drop back in via a small quarter.
While the design is a bit limited—small, mostly one-directional, and somewhat one-dimensional—the park does have a few positives. There’s plenty of parking, seating, and dedicated lighting, making it accessible and convenient. Overall, it’s a modest local spot, best suited for a quick session rather than an all-day skate.
