Greenvale Skatepark has come a long way from its humble beginnings as a small street setup with a lone mini ramp. Over time, it’s been expanded on all sides, transforming into the impressive park we see today. The contrast between the old and new concrete is clear — especially from above — but the design blends it all together seamlessly.
The park now boasts a comprehensive street section paired with a massive open bowl. The bowl flows naturally into the street area, yet still keeps its own free-flowing personality. The mix of transitions and street features makes it a versatile space that caters to all styles of skating.
Upgrading skateparks is never easy — often it’s simpler to start fresh — but Greenvale proves how it can be done with style while keeping some of its original character. With its thoughtful design and smooth layout, Greenvale Skatepark is firmly back on the map, and well deserving of a solid four-star rating.
