Brea Skate Park at Arovista stands as a vibrant and dynamic 10,000 sq ft concrete skate haven, designed by Purkiss Rose and introduced in September 2000. The park is a bustling hub for skateboarders, rollerbladers, BMX riders, and scooter enthusiasts alike, offering an energetic space for the community to converge and enjoy various elements, including a Bowl/Pool, Deck, Flat Rail, Hubba, Pyramid, Stairset, and more.
Safety is a top priority at Brea Skate Park, with mandatory helmet and pads requirements ensuring a secure environment for riders. The park welcomes enthusiasts daily from 7 am to 10 pm, providing ample opportunities for skaters to engage in their passion without any entry fee. The park's diverse features, such as the Pyramid, Spine, Hubba, Roll-in, Open bowl, Quarterpipe, Funbox, Manualpad, Londongap, Handrail, Flatrail, Ledge, Bank, and Bowl, cater to riders of all skill levels.
Originally unveiled in 2000, the Skate Park underwent significant upgrades in late 2015, guided by design consultants and community outreach efforts. The renovation project, shaped by community feedback and internal collaboration, resulted in improvements like maintenance repairs, new skate elements, and essential concrete and drainage work. The commitment to inclusivity and modernization makes Brea Skate Park a thriving and well-maintained space for the local skating community.
