Description
The concrete skatepark, designed and built by Site Design Group, spans 20,000 square feet and has been open since 2001. It features a 10-foot bowl and a well-designed street skating area, incorporating various transitioned and banked obstacles. The street section includes three fun boxes of different sizes with metal coping, two metal slider bars, a wedged runway area with a hip, flanked by jibs and mini transitioned hips, all topped with metal coping.
Despite its popularity, the park provides ample space to navigate, ensuring a comfortable experience even during peak times. It offers an engaging environment for skateboarders, with options to spend a few hours or the entire day honing their skills.
This utilitarian facility is not limited to skateboarding; it also includes a BMX bike track and a roller-hockey rink, catering to a diverse range of action sports enthusiasts. Operating hours are from 8 AM to 9 PM every day of the week.
The skatepark is free to use, but bicycles are prohibited. Users are reminded to skate at their own risk, and the use of safety equipment, including helmets, elbow and knee pads, wrist pads, and gloves, is strongly recommended at all times. The facility emphasizes safety precautions and is reserved for skateboards, roller-skates, and inline skates only, explicitly excluding bicycles and scooters. These rules contribute to creating a safe and enjoyable environment for users at this dynamic and well-equipped skatepark.
