Located next to the Windham Public Safety building along Route 202, Windham Skatepark offers a clean, well-designed concrete space for skateboards, blades, scooters, and BMX riders alike. The new park stands proudly where the old 17-ramp wooden setup once stood, replacing aging wood with a modern, low-maintenance concrete build that’s ready for years of heavy sessions.
Wooden ramps served the town for years, but maintaining them against the ramps was a constant battle. By choosing to upgrade to a concrete park, Windham joined the growing list of smart municipalities — alongside Portland, South Portland, and Portsmouth, NH — investing in durable, high-quality skate infrastructure. The result? A smoother, more consistent riding surface, lower maintenance costs, and a better overall experience for the community.
Windham Skatepark offers a nice variety of street ramps, giving riders of all styles something to work with:
The layout encourages continuous movement, allowing riders to string together tricks naturally without constant resets. Whether you’re a beginner practicing basics or an experienced rider chasing technical lines, the park offers a flexible setup for creativity.
The new concrete rides fast and smooth, offering great grip for wheels of all types. Skateboarders will appreciate the consistent pop, while BMXers and scooter riders will find the transitions buttery and welcoming for speed and control.
Windham Skatepark quickly earned a spot as a community hub. It’s common to see a healthy mix of skaters, bikers, bladers, and scooter riders sharing space respectfully. Beginners find the park approachable, while experienced riders appreciate the polished build quality and layout.
Windham Skatepark is open from dawn to dusk, giving riders plenty of daylight hours to session:
Pro Tip:
Catch early morning sessions for mellow vibes and open runs. Late afternoon, especially on weekends, sees a nice mix of energy with bigger sessions.
