Wilmington Skatepark is a thoughtfully designed concrete park that offers something for every style and skill level. The surface is buttery smooth, with just enough grip to keep your wheels feeling locked in without slowing you down. Cracks are nonexistent, and the transitions between different sections of the park are seamless. It makes it easy to maintain flow.
At the heart of the park sits a medium-sized pyramid with mellow angles, perfect for setting up lines or dialing in flip tricks. On either side of the pyramid, you’ll find long, low hubbas and ledges that invite grind combos and manual variations. They’re ideal for beginners building confidence but still slick and tall enough to keep it fun for more advanced skaters pushing technical tricks like nosegrind to manual or crooked grind flips out.
Wilmington Skatepark is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week — making it one of the rare gems where you can session anytime inspiration strikes.
Whether you want a quiet solo sunrise session, a golden-hour game of SKATE, or a late-night mission under the lights, the park is always ready.
