This skatepark features chunky, abrupt shapes with definite corners. And doesn’t that one look like a picnic table? Yes, that is a “picnic table” in the center, right in front of a set of “stairs” and across from a very real fire hydrant. This “street-style” skatepark looks more like the real world, and it’s just what Springfield skaters told designers Purkiss-Rose they wanted.
