Vans Off the Wall Skatepark: Where Orange County Shredder’s Come to Skate
Opened in 2014, the Vans Off the Wall Skatepark stands out as a premier OC destination for skateboarders. It offers a ton of terrain to shred. It’s got enough to satisfy riders of all levels. Located not far from the 405 freeway, it’s easy to get to.
It’s one of the top skate parks in Orange County.

It’s an expansive skatepark spans over 35,000 square feet.
Skate Park Hours:
The park is open 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, seven days a week, weather permitting.
Skate Park Layout:
- The park’s split into two main spots. There’s a mini section with this chill spine and roll-in — super fun to warm up. Then the main section is where it gets wild: fun box, wallride, quarter pipes, a bowl corner, wedge step-up… It’s all there. You’ll never get bored.
- They do have rules, though — gotta wear a helmet and pads. Kinda annoying but makes sense, especially with kids flying around everywhere.
- Oh, and heads up — Wednesdays are for BMX, so no skating then. But the rest of the week? All you. Sessions are lit.
- After your sesh, you can chill at the Vans store or grab some food at Bunz right there. Their burgers hit different after a long session.
- It does cost a little to skate, but it’s totally worth it for how dope this place is.
If you are in North OC, this is one of the best spots to ride. Also check out Costa Mesa Skate Park, or Etnies Skate Park of Lake Forest (huge) if you are open to the drive.
