The park boasts ramps, bowls, ledges, and rails, providing a dynamic environment for both beginners and experts. Additionally, the availability of lighting allows for night skating sessions.
The skatepark features a prominent concrete bowl and a compact street section, catering to various skating preferences. Notably, Vanderhoof Skatepark is renowned for having the best bowl in Ontario. Constructed in 2003, the park covers an area of 668 m² and showcases a large U-shaped bowl with a 5′ shallow-end mini-ramp transitioning into a 9′ deep end bowl. The deep end bowl features extensions, pool coping, and a challenging over-vert cradle, offering skaters an exhilarating experience.
In addition to the impressive bowl, the skatepark includes basic street elements such as a bank, long ledge, manual pad, and a small kicker leading to stairs and a hubba. This diverse layout caters to various skating styles and preferences. Vanderhoof Skatepark is free to access, providing an inclusive space for skaters to enjoy their passion.
