Just over the River and thru the woods from burnsides, Vancouver is a really quick and awesome park. It’s right off the Highway (the 5 I think) which is real good if you are on the road and want a quick spot to stop and use your legs for something other than working the gas clutch and brakes. The skate park has a very good flow to it and the whole time I was there I had that “skate burrito” song from the Public Domain video in my head. the local skaters were very awesome and even invited us to discover a 4/5 Ft. in a local back Road the crash-up derby factor was not too bad on the day that we were there but I’m sure the spot can get very hectic on a crowded day. The overall design is very good. There’s lots of quick carve-able corners and pump bumps into 2 bowls (one deep and one shallow). The things that I felt were bad about The skate park are the fun box/rail thing which was kind of in the way and some unspotted steps but that’s just about it. Highly recommended if you are in the Portland area looking for something awesome and not as burly as Burnside.
