The God Bowl – Brisbane’s Legendary Indoor/Outdoor Skate Haven
Tucked next to Citipointe Church Brisbane, within CHC – Christian Heritage College, lies one of Queensland’s most iconic skate destinations: The God Bowl. This unique skatepark combines indoor and outdoor elements, making it skateable year-round—rain, hail, or shine.
Indoor Setup
The indoor area houses a massive 5-ft Skatelite half pipe with an extension, widely regarded as one of the smoothest and most well-designed transitions in all of Queensland. Alongside it is a smaller, square-shaped mini bowl. While it looks promising, the mini bowl doesn’t skate as well as it appears; too many Skatelite panels meet at odd angles on the corners, resulting in a rougher, uneven ride.
The concrete floor inside has also been repurposed with a portable street setup featuring rails, banks, quarters, and ledges, giving street skaters something to session indoors.
Outdoor Setup
Step outside and you’re greeted by the famous God Bowl—a gnarly, throwback-style concrete bowl straight out of a 90s skate video. It’s raw, fast, and perfect for experienced bowl riders.
Adjacent to that is a DIY street section that adds serious character to the space. Built with love and a ton of creativity, it includes banks, quarters, manual pads, a spine, and even a wallride. While it may look chaotic, the layout flows surprisingly well—just make sure to plan your lines. The wear and tear only add to its charm.

What makes The God Bowl truly special is its backstory. Though no one caught up with the park’s founder, “God”—the legend behind the name—is said to have personally funded and built this epic skate haven. And the best part It’s completely free to skate.
