Always wondered if they moved Gonzales to there and added a back part, or just built the exact same design after Gonzales got torn down. But I’m not sure it got tore down or they some how brought it to Prairieville, but Gonzales, Louisiana skatepark is the EXACT SAME SKATEPARK. Zero Exaggeration. But either way Gonzales skatepark (now prairieville’s skatepark) always been my fav to go skate besides Pelican
Park. And they just recently tore it down. Such a shame. Should have donated it to Larose, Louisiana. Been skating for 25 years without a skatepark within 30min from me. And that’s only been for a few years. Used to be the closest was at least an hour to 3-4 hours away…. It was easily movable metal skate obstacles we could’ve laid down some smooth cement, & had those obstacles put there and the skate community we have is slowly fading over the years because nobody likes having to drive half an hour there and back just to skate even though it’s worth it, that’s not the point. We’d love & skate those metal ramps and ledges tables stairs rails EVERYDAY. I know the perfect location in larose. But nobody wants to do anything to help skateboarders in my small judge-mental community.
