📍 Scarborough Skate Park, Municipal Campus, Scarborough, ME 04074, United States
Scarborough Skate Park is a welcoming and dynamic outdoor skateboarding facility catering to skaters of all skill levels—from absolute beginners to seasoned shredders. Located in the heart of the community, this park has earned a strong reputation for its thoughtful design, smooth surfaces, and overall good vibes.
Mini Ramp: The highlight of the park for many is the well-crafted mini ramp. It’s not too steep, making it great for learning transitions, dropping in, and flowing back and forth while dialing in tricks. Its smooth coping and transitions offer consistent performance.
Roll-Ins & Hump Section: The park includes two roll-in ramps which allow easy and fun access into the main flow section. Nearby, there’s a center hump (or mellow pyramid), which can be used for pumping or launching into other obstacles.
Mini Spine: Adjacent to the hump is a mini spine—a feature not commonly found in smaller skateparks. This is perfect for transfers or flip trick combos and adds a creative flair to the central layout.
Fun Box with 5-Stair Set: Street skaters love the fun box setup, which includes a 5-stair set complete with a grindable handrail and side ledges. It’s ideal for those practicing stair sets or street-style combos.
Grind Rails: The park includes two grind rails—one is a standard straight rail, and the other is a kinked rail, which is more challenging and ideal for experienced skaters looking to push their limits.
Ledges & Box: A versatile box setup offers ledge-style edges, great for slides and manual tricks. The surface is waxed enough for technical tricks but still beginner-friendly.
Unique Features: There’s a funky bench-style obstacle and a kicker ramp, which provide unique options for creativity and flow. These smaller features are ideal for warming up or stringing together tricks in a line.
The park is open seven days a week, offering consistent access to skaters and visitors throughout the week. Whether you’re planning an early morning session or want to catch some runs before sunset, the schedule makes it easy to plan your visit:
