Description
Riverside Skate Park professional provides a safe environment for extreme sports such as in-line skating, skateboarding, and biking.
Riverside Skate Park consists of a very smooth concrete surface with nine steel obstacles and ramps. These include a half-pipe, ramps, railings and more. One unique ramp grouping, called “the works,” is one of only two installed by the manufacturer in the United States.
Riverside Skate Park was made possible by the combined efforts of a group of local students and parent’s, the City of Cedar Rapids Recreation Department, a state Recreation Infrastructure Grant, and corporate and private donations.
For those not interested in extreme sports, Riverside Park also has a playground, a wading pool, a walking trail and a softball diamond. Restrooms and running water are available during the regular operating season. 4′ kicker
