The main room hosts the transition section and has a huge variety of obstacles set over 30,000 sq ft. of space. This room is then split into three sections, one is jump box focused, the other is grind focused with some long grinds for those with the balance and the final section features a step-up, flat bank, and funbox. There is also the newly built wave which is unlike anything you will have seen before in the UK and looks like a fun skate.

The next section is the bowl. One of the largest in the UK, it is split into three depths starting at 5ft for beginners and moving up to 7ft and 9ft for the most experienced. The deepest part of this bowl also has a 1ft vert extension to make things a bit more interesting and give the option to gain a bit of air.

The street section, or back room as it’s known as Rampworx, is heavily street-oriented and has a wide variety of obstacles that are slightly smaller than the other sections meaning it caters a lot better to those who are just starting up as well as those with a bit more experience looking for an easy shred.

The final section is the recent addition of the UK’s biggest foam pit. There are three entry points launching off either a huge ramp from the front, a quarter pipe on the left, and a roll-in on the right-hand side. Each of these three entry points covers every base and will provide users with a safe way to practice every type of trick. There is also a huge roll-in ramp leading up to the foam pit meaning users don’t even need to push to gain speed!

Rampworx is one of the best facilities in the country with the ability to cater to all types of skaters and riders as well as people of all abilities. It is definitely worth making the trip for as there is nothing quite like it elsewhere in the country and you could lose yourself here amongst the ramps learning the lines and practicing new tricks in the foam pit.
