Description
PS150 Community Youth Center is a spot for skateboarding, biking and blading in East Tawas, Michigan. We are a Jesus-oriented facility dedicated to reaching out to the youth of the area with concerts and dances and whatever it takes.
PS150 opened in a warehouse at 811 W. Westover Street in March 2003. This East Tawas location is the first of what is hoped to be a series of facilities operating in conjunction across the nation.
The current PS150 is in a building that is 7,200 square feet, 4,800 of which is a skate park with ramps, while 2,400 square feet is a club area with a stage.
The biking, boarding and blading area has a 4-foot and an 8-foot half-pipe. The 4-foot half-pipe is in the shape of a half-bowl. There are additional awesome boxes and grind rails.
The club area includes a snack area with pop and chips for sale. There is a large open area with a ping pong table. The stage is set in a semicircle in one corner of the area. PS150 began hosting a concert series in this club area in August 2003. See our Events page for more on that.
