Description
Pleasant Valley Skateboard Park concrete outdoor park is also known as the Kansas City Skate Plaza due to its plaza-like appearance. Officially opened in late fall of 2005, it features an open bowl with integrated street ramps. It makes it suitable for skaters of all levels. The park is well-lit for night skating.
Exclusive to skateboarding and in-line skating, the Pleasant Valley Skate Park offers various ramps such as Spine, Hubba, Roll-in, Jump Box, Quarterpipe, Funbox, Manualpad, Handrail, Flatrail, Ledge, Bank, Stairs, MiniRamp, and Bowl. Protective equipment, including a helmet and pads, is mandatory for all skaters.
Entrance to the park is free, and it is open daily from dawn to dusk, earning its reputation as a local favorite skatepark.
