Peoria Skatepark, also known as Rio Vista Skate Park, is located within Rio Vista Community Park at 8866 W Thunderbird Rd, Peoria, AZ 85381. Open daily from 6 am to 10:30 pm, this poured concrete skatepark spans 32,000 square feet and is free for public use. Designed by Site Design Group and opened in 2004, the park caters to skaters of all skill levels.
The skatepark features amenities such as a shaded seating area with bleachers and lighting for evening sessions. It includes two bowls designed for vert skaters, one with swimming pool-style coping and steps. Street skaters can enjoy various options, including two distinct 10-stair sets with a concrete ledge and rails. The flow section provides ample transition areas, and strategically placed ledges of different heights offer opportunities for grind and ollie tricks. Additionally, the park incorporates a Euro Gap in one of the banked ramps and a designated area for flatland tricks.
