Description
Beebe Park hosts the Mission Viejo Skateboard Facility, a vibrant space designed by Purkiss Rose in 1999. This 9,000-square-foot concrete skatepark is open daily from 7 am to 11 pm. It providesample opportunities for skating enthusiasts.
The facility, inaugurated on August 18, 1999, features a variety of ramps, including a concrete bowl, vert wall, Bauer box, rails, spine, pyramid, hips, ramps, steps, and benches. The offerings cater to skateboarders and in-line skaters. It makes it a and engaging space for the local community.
For the safety and enjoyment of all skaters, the facility enforces specific rules, including the mandatory use of protective gear such as helmets, elbow pads, and knee pads. The regulations also ensure that users wear equipment in good repair during their sessions.
Additionally, certain guidelines are in place to manage the use of amenities, prevent conflicts, and maintain a safe environment. These rules include restrictions on entering or using an amenity when another person is already using it and the prohibition of additional obstacles. The Skate Facility emphasizes responsible and safe skating practices, contributing to an awesome experience for all participants.
