Beebe Park hosts the Mission Viejo Skateboard Facility, a vibrant space designed by Purkiss Rose in 1999. This 9,000-square-foot concrete skatepark is open daily from 7 am to 11 pm, providing ample opportunities for skating enthusiasts.
The facility, inaugurated on August 18, 1999, features a variety of elements, including a concrete bowl, vert wall, Bauer box, rails, spine, pyramid, hips, ramps, steps, and benches. The diverse offerings cater to skateboarders and in-line skaters, making it a dynamic and engaging space for the local community.
For the safety and enjoyment of all users, the facility enforces specific rules, including the mandatory use of protective gear such as helmets, elbow pads, and knee pads. The regulations also ensure that users wear equipment in good repair during their sessions.
Additionally, certain guidelines are in place to manage the use of amenities, prevent conflicts, and maintain a safe environment.
