Located in the south of Malta, Zejtun Skatepark is a smaller neighborhood-style facility that serves as a safe and accessible spot for younger skaters and casual riders. The design includes basic quarter pipes, funboxes, and a few ledges and rails that allow for practice and progression.
While it doesn’t have the scale or advanced features of Msida or Birżebbuġa, its importance lies in providing a reliable local hangout for kids and teens in the area. Parents often appreciate the visibility and safety of the park, while skaters see it as a training ground before stepping up to bigger, more technical spots across the island.
Malta’s skateboarding future looks promising with new developments underway. Paola has plans for a new skate facility, while the ambitious Fgura District Park project is set to include one of Malta’s largest and most advanced skateparks. These projects aim to push the island’s skate infrastructure to international standards, potentially transforming Malta into a destination for traveling skaters as well as boosting the local scene with more space, better design, and long-term durability.
