With an astonishing 16,000 square feet of space, the Maloof Cup Plaza, also called Flushing Meadows Skate Park, is a premier skate plaza in Queens, New York. It was constructed over the Astral fountain and has street lines created by copies of famous skate spots in New York City.

Designed by professional skateboarders, it was first funded by the Maloof Brothers for the 2010 Maloof Money Cup and eventually donated to Parks. A-frames, manual pads, flat bars, handrails, ledges, stair sets, and hubbas are just a few of the features found in the park.

The unsupervised skate park is open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. and allows scooters and inline skates but not BMX bicycles. Although not required, safety gear is strongly advised for the skaters’ protection. The facility offers free access and includes restroom facilities.
