LS-Ten Skatepark is a huge indoor skatepark covering 25,000sq ft. and has a wide selection of professional and bespoke ramps as well as a huge street section laid out in 4 main sections which are open to all types of riders. The street section is split into two parts, one aimed at beginners and a more difficult one aimed at more experienced riders. There are also two transition sections, including an old-school pool.
The first section, known as ‘Big Street’ is the main feature of the park and hosts a selection of quarter pipes, flat banks, driveways, blocks, handrails, and hips. Some of the more unique features of this park are the jersey barrier, manni pad, a huge block, and a huge hip leading up to a wall ride.
The second section here, known as ‘Easy Street’, is simply a long line of various obstacles, including a mini ramp, step up the mini spine, hips, driveways, and a wall ride. The linear arrangement allows for a wide selection of lines and gives a lot of flexibility in terms of tricks.
‘The Pool’ is similar to those found on the West Coast when skateboarding was first becoming popular and has those classic tight transitions and concrete coping around the edge. There aren’t many old school pools like this around in the UK so it’s worth heading down just for this.
