Leeside Skatepark is a one-of-a-kind DIY underground skate haven, built by the skateboarding community in honor of Lee Matasi, a Vancouver skater and artist whose passion for the sport lives on through this project.

Originally an abandoned transit tunnel, it was gradually transformed into a fully functional, ever-evolving skatepark, thanks to the dedication of local skaters and artists. Today, it stands as a legendary landmark in Vancouver’s skate culture, with a mix of raw creativity, artistic expression, and pure skateboarding energy.
