The 10,000-square-foot Kennedy Skate Park — situated within John F. Kennedy Park in El Cajon — is small but retains good lines. built by Purkiss Rose RSI. The skate park is staffed and has lights (for night skating) for night skating.

It is a fairly small very smooth concrete bowl, but has the advantage of being one of the only skate parks in the area lighted at night. Skaters under 18 must have written parental permission to skate.
Does it cost money to skate?: no (You do need to pay a small fee at the recreation center to create an ID prior to skating here)
