Hood River Skatepark, Rotary Park
1833 Wasco St, Hood River, OR 97031, USA
The idea of the Hood River skatepark was ideal. It had tons of land to work with and was very shaded by trees. Basically the whole park was set up on a downhill slant which was kind of awesome to stay speed but it was kind of weird skating the 4 Ft. mini because it was at the bottom of the hill and weird to ride. There was a 6 Ft. mini, a 11Ft. vert ramp that was just finished a street course with more obstacles than I have ever seen and this tiny small cement bowl poured into the center of The skate park. The ramps were covered (for rain) in steel but I found them to be a small weird other than that it was very awesome. Good thing they have Kyle on the job, didn’t see him while I was there though.
