At Kasey Meadow Park stands the newly built Hickory Hills Skatepark, a vibrant addition to the local recreational landscape, constructed in 2020, spanning 6,000 square feet. This prefabricated park is adorned with a variety of features including hip, rail, ledge, euro gap fun box, quarters, banks, and a mini ramp.
Offering free admission, the park operates daily from 9 a.m. until dusk, weather permitting, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for skaters and bikers. Safety is a top priority here, with mandatory protective gear such as helmets, knee and elbow pads, and wrist guards required for skating.
Participants are encouraged to inspect the equipment before use, ensuring its safety and functionality. Bringing additional ramps or boxes into the park is prohibited, and a strict no-glass policy is in place. Moreover, the park promotes a drug, alcohol, tobacco, and vaping-free environment, emphasizing responsible behavior and safe skating practices within one's skill level.
