It’s an amazing skatepark, with a vibrant community, and well-put-together appliances and accessories. Helpful individuals, for beginners all throughout advanced skaters, and is inviting to other rides too(like scooters, rollerskates, bicycles, etc). Epic skatepark, that I go to all the time not because I’m forced to due to proximity but because it genuinely is a great skatepark. I consider myself lucky to be able to have access to this skatepark.
Just had a recent event in the skatepark on Sunday 22nd of September, and it was LIT! Free clothing, skateboards, wheels, and a lot of other great stuff. It was centered around adult participation but it was something for the youngsters(teenagers and tweens) to enjoy just as much too. So much enthusiasm was put into it as different brands came together to represent their own launch of products to showcase how important each skate accessory is when all comes together.
I highly suggest coming to Hawthorne, because that’s my go to skatepark. Never could ask for anything better, but just a community that’s there for you
