Constructed by SpohnRanch in 2012, this expansive 4800 m² skatepark expertly merges contemporary urban architectural ramps with the nostalgic feel of traditional backyard pool skating. Making efficient use of an existing hockey rink slab, the design ensures a harmonious space for both transition and street skaters.
The addition of innovative shade structures by RHA Landscape Architects enhances the park’s sculptural and aesthetic qualities. With features like Hubba, Quarterpipe, Pole, Manualpad, Londongap, Kicker, Handrail, Flatrail, Ledge, Bank, Stairs, Wallride, and Bowl, the skatepark is equipped for skating styles and is well-lit for nighttime use. Open from 8 AM to 10 PM, Fergusson Park Skatepark serves as a testament to the community’s dedication and the fusion of creative design.
