Corio Bowls is a unique concrete skate facility made up of three differently shaped and sized bowls, all built without coping. Each bowl offers its own quirks, but they share a reputation for being rough, unconventional, and challenging to ride.
Although the bowls differ in style, the transitions are notoriously aggressive, and the rough concrete makes maintaining smooth runs difficult. A narrow one-meter pathway links the bowls together, but the overall layout is not particularly forgiving.
One standout feature is the excellent drainage, something many newer parks struggle with. However, these days the bowls are often more popular with street artists than skaters, with fresh graffiti pieces covering the concrete and spray cans scattered around.
Corio Bowls isn’t for the faint-hearted — it’s more of a raw, old-school spot that rewards creativity and grit rather than flow and ease.
