Hey, skate crew! Let’s talk about the fresh setup at Bishop’s Cleeve Skatepark, the latest hotspot for riders in Cheltenham.

Location: You’ll find this rad park at the Parish Sports Field, Bishop’s Cleeve, Cheltenham, GL52 8YF.

Hours: Good news! The park is open 24/7, and with floodlights installed, your sessions don’t have to end when the sun goes down.

Size & Features: Designed and built by Maverick Skateparks alongside Velosolutions, this state-of-the-art facility has a smooth concrete skatepark and an all-weather pump track suitable for skaters, bikers, and scooter riders of all levels.

History: After years of planning and overcoming various hurdles, construction kicked off in June 2024. By November 2024, the park officially opened its doors, with an epic grand opening event slated for April 5, 2025.

  • Councillor Claire Wells from Bishop’s Cleeve Parish Council shared her excitement: “This project has been an absolute labour of love… We are absolutely delighted to be able to provide and share these facilities for the parish.” (soglos.com)
