A skate park opened in 2023. It is also known as The Switch | Rideable Artscape.
Would say not the best park but I do live here so it’s free and awesome. A tennis court first then skate park which was really really good it’s had a couple half pipes and ramp and grind rails then people were playing music there a lot and they got rid of it and made it a tennis court then they got this one which is worse than the last. It has a quarter pipe kind a small (metal). A awesome box which is kind a awesome. A ramp that u can’t push onto the awesome box. 3 grind rails 1 big square one a round mini one and a long swerve circle one. A wood box that’s kind a big good for nose stalls nose slides ollieing on to and still a broken tennis court thingy and 2 fun benches. If Ipswich wanted to they could put a bowl into it or a half pipe cause they only use half of the area for the skate park. Lots of area to skate around and do free moves but I still think they should get a larger ramp or a half pipe. Park has a basketball court, baseball field, playground, and a green building with water fountains and bathrooms. Like I said before it’s not the greatest skate park but it’s where I live so it works great, I give the skate park a go if u want!
