Kamloops Rotary Skatepark, located in the inner area of British Columbia, stands out as one of the four largest skateparks in Canada, with plans to become the country’s biggest upon completion of all phases. Spanning a massive 27,000 square feet, this skatepark, enhanced with bowls in 2007 by Newline, offers a unique blend of classic features and contemporary design.
The skatepark has a large street-style plaza featuring many manual pads, ledges, stairs, various rails, bump-to-bars, and bump-to-ledges. Additionally, it provides substantial handrails and a flow section leading to an expansive vert area characterized by high-flying transfers and transitions. This combination of classic and modern ramps, set in a less populated area, makes Kamloops Rotary Skatepark an ideal destination for skaters of all skill levels. It stands as a testament to Canada’s thriving skatepark scene, especially in regions beyond larger cities.
