I have a lot of patience especially since I have kids and I have been teaching my 9-year-old son to skate. I've skated in a couple of local contests. Helped other people learn to skate and whenever I'm at a park and see someone who needs a brand board I give out my old boards. I love to help people learn to skate so they can experience the same feeling of learning that trick you have been trying for weeks/months is just pure bliss once u land it. Skateboarding has saved my life and I would love to pass that down to others.

Alexia would be a great instructor because she is very understanding of the beginner stage. She understands that there is mental fear when skating and tries to eliminate the thoughts of negativity with positivity. She is patient with new learners and will give truthful tips when learning new things. She is also very encouraging and uplifting when it comes to failing and learning. She will push you to keep on trying and will give personal experiences to show that skating is not easy.

I love skateboarding more than anything so I love everyone that loves skateboarding. Being at a park changes me into a way more welcoming person, outside of skateboarding I'm a quiet person but when around it I'm lit up. Nothing makes me happier

I've been skating now for 35 years. I grew up in Houston skating whatever we could find. My father was a skater also in the 70's Skating in Spring Branch at a place called Skateboard City on Bingle. That's where I caught the Skateboarding bug. I also loved skating EZ-7 and the Meat Grinder in Oak Forest. As I got older I loved skating in Downtown Houston, street skating was the thing in the early 90s. Now I'm much older I'm a father of three boys 17,12, and 4. I've taught them all how to skate and surf. I love giving to anyone wanting to learn. For most, once you have that feeling of balance and rolling on a board the freedom of going where ever the concrete takes you, you HOOKED! I look forward to meeting you!

I have always had interest in skateboarding since I can remember. I started skating with my small group of friends in my hometown in Minnesota very young and never stopped. We progressed and quickly made the realization that our hometown didn't have a skatepark. So we started a foundation “Cloquet needs a Skatepark Foundation” and began attending city hall meetings every week for years. We advocated and raised $200k in 10 years time and finally got the cities approval and backing to build a park for the generations to come. Skateboarding has always been my passion and for that I believe I will be a great teacher.
