Veteran Instructor Jarrid H. — Dallas, Texas

Born and raised in Dallas, Texas. My dad was a skateboarder in the 80's and 90's in Abilene, Texas. Ollie'd when I was 6, and put the board down until about 6th grade when I moved and my new neighbor was a year older and kinda wanted to skate too. Ever since then, I tried as hard as I could to be a good skater, learning every skater and reading/watching every skate-related thing possible, and here we are 12 years later still shredding and loving every minute of it. Im not sure how to explain experience(I've been to the Berrics if that says anything? Haha) but I do know kids ask me how to do things at the skateparks all around quite frequently and I always find myself caught up in focusing on their sesh versus mine a little to see them get better after I told them they should try something. I have been skating for a while and have seen a lot, and have a lot of good advice and tricks that I used growing up learning that I still remember and could teach to a lot of lil future shredders.

Veteran Instructor Matt B. — Dallas, Texas

Actually, my forte is teaching how to slide downhill. This is essential to learning how to safely stop at high speeds. I've organized three slide clinics in my neighborhood. I've gotten the homeowners association behind us to block the roads. The primary focus of these clinics is to teach safety to the local kids. I have taught numerous kids how to slide ranging from ages 7-47. The most advanced tricks I can teach are a Coleman 360 slide and a front-side hands-down manual slide.

Veteran Instructor Kendell F. — Irving, Texas

Kendell is a very positive and interactive person to meet. He has a passion for skateboarding that never changed during his years. He's always interested in teaching or learning himself. His patience goes a long way when helping people learn about skateboarding. He is very good with kids and can meet at any skate park in the DFW area. Kendell is a very upfront person and is not scared to be risky if needed. Kendell keeps positive energy making kids comfortable to be okay with failing and trying again. Kendell is the best option for a child lesson teaching from the love a Skateboarder has for Skateboarding.

I've had experience training youth simple to advanced tricks I have a very flexible schedule, I have a really good way of explaining trick mechanics and breaking down parts making the completion of a trick a bit easier to understand for beginners.

Veteran Instructor Matthew R. — Grand Prairie, Texas

I know that if a kid wants to learn how to skate you should be open to the option. Riding a board is a great pastime and takes dedication and commitment. If I had someone willing like me at a young age I would have benefited greatly.

Veteran Instructor Judah T. — Grand Prairie, Texas

My name is Judah. I've been skateboarding for almost 10 years now competitively and for fun. I've traveled in and out of state with the skate team/shop that sponsors me multiple times. I love skateboarding and I am very passionate about it. I love the community the people, the friends that I've made, the memories I've made, and the places I've got to travel through skateboarding and what it's given me. From time to time kids will approach me and ask for tips or for help on how to do certain tricks, or about how long I've been skating, or just anything in general for help in their skateboarding journey, and it's always a pleasure to teach them what I know, and what I've learned over the years, I've done a few paid lessons from time to time but it's never been something I've done relatively consistent but to have money coming in doing something I love and possibly giving multiple kids careers for life, that would be amazing. when I saw this on an Instagram ad, I couldn't help but throw in an application. Don't hesitate to contact me if you or your kids need a lesson in skateboarding at an affordable price. much love.
