Adam has been skateboarding since 2006. It has been a crucial part of his development as an adult and he loves to skate on weekends when he doesn't have class. He loves to see progress and is excited to see his students develop their skills.

Experience: 20 years

I would be a great instructor because of my experience with skateboarding and also my experience teaching younger kids and adults key tips when it comes to skateboarding. I'm a very friendly, supportive & encouraging instructor and I love seeing my students progress.

Jorge has been skateboarding since 2003 and an instructor since 2007. During the summers, he is a recreation director and skateboard instructor for camp Woodward in Pennsylvania (the world's largest skateboard camp). During the the school year, he is a substitute teacher and after-school care leader. For the past 10 years, Jorge has been working with all ages in recreational and academic settings. He enjoys working with any age group, skill level, and skateboard discipline; in small groups or one-on-one. In May 2018, he will receive his bachelor's degree in Exceptional Student Education (ESE Teaching). Jorge skates virtually all forms of discipline in skateboarding and still enjoys skateboarding on his days off.

Robby used to give lessons at his hometown park and has years of experience teaching kids. He is well-versed with the basics and a wide range of tricks he can teach.

I've been skating for 20+ years and I've had multiple sponsorships. I've worked at skate shops and helped teach young skaters. I'm a very patient person and have a deep love for skating and the power it can bestow in helping people with life outside of skating. I'm adept at both street and transition skating.

Teaching others how to do something that you are passionate about is a very amusing experience. I pay attention to every detail and provide the best feedback. I love teaching others and have been told I give good advice. Skateboarding is a lifelong love for me, and it would be a dream come true to make something out of it. Skateboarding is fun and the community is very loving and accepting. Skating will give you the best memories, and help you make friends. Not many people are patient, but a good skate instructor is one of them. Skateboarders have been in the exact same position as their students, and we all have started out the same way. A good skate instructor understands the struggles of skateboarding, and the battles that come with it. Mental battles, injuries, and losing tricks that you don't practice every day. We all go through it, and we all understand.

I would be a wonderful instructor because I'm very friendly, and great to get along with! I have a passion for this sport and have been doing it ever since I was a kid. My experience is solid, I taught my little brother how to skate, and he's gotten sponsored. I always love going to the park and teaching others how to do some awesome tricks!

Hi! Started skating in 1985 and skated until about 1991. I started skating again about 8 years ago when my son became interested. I love skating now more than I did as a kid because I put way too much pressure on myself to be good as a teenager and ultimately burned myself out. Now it is 100 percent for the love of it! I am a huge skate enthusiast and actually have a large collection of old school boards at my home as well as a few new schools. I have experience in every form of skateboarding, I love street and transition. I already give lots of free lessons at the park by my house, not by appointment but I get asked a lot of questions and am always happy to help. Love spreading the joy of skateboarding! I have coached swim teams and soccer teams in the past with success and now would like to coach what I love and actually get paid for it.
