I've been skating for over 10 years. I started at a young age and it's changed my life in countless positive ways. I would love to pass my knowledge so other people can experience the great things skating can offer. I've taught karate lessons to children so I have experience teaching young children and am very patient.

Joe can teach from basic skills to intermediate all the way to advanced. He has lived the lifestyle of a skateboarder since high school. He skates regularly & switches on streets & transitions. He skates Pools bowls & ramps up to 11 feet. No Vert!

Kyle can help you take that next step, whether it's your first time on the board, or it's been a few years and you just want to progress faster. He knows easy, step-by-step instructions, as well as invaluable tips, for quick progression. Kyle is also a local/touring musician and outdoors enthusiast, as well as an Eagle Scout. He believes the time is best spent outside: wandering, exploring, meeting goals, and building community. He carries with him a passion for life that leaves many inspired and smiling.

Picked up a skateboard as a little kid like many of us but it had shitty bearings and it broke so I got a sweet GT Coyote cruiser from a garage sale down the street with bearings that still to this day, if it exists in my parent's garage, probably roll better than ceramics. I was very active at my local KC indoor skatepark throughout high school and even did a huge part in remodeling it at one point. At that time I rode for a skate shop called Imperial and then it changed to Artificial and eventually closed down. I ended up working for and riding at a shop called Ride Forever/Studio Skate Supply for a few years it was a multilevel shop with a mini ramp upstairs. Over the years I have traveled and filmed in various parts of the country with friends and have been a part of a handful of personal shops and local productions. Among many years of advancing my own skills at skateboarding, I have taught many friends and youngsters how to harness their center of gravity over a skateboard and develop the necessary reactive and balancing capabilities to accomplish any desired trick you set your mind to. I got more into all other facets of training in my young 20s and got a NASM personal training certificate and worked at a Genesis here in my town for some time so I also am quite familiar with the human body, how to assess certain muscles imbalances and correct them in order to progress to more complex movements and am able to communicate in quite proficiently in weightlifting, stretching, movement, kickboxing, and I of course skateboarding. I've had many jobs that require a lot of verbal communication skills, among skateboarding and training environments I have also built gyms, done large-scale inventory, transportation jobs, 3 years of tree work, Amazon, and I have also traveled to Thailand and even was living in Amsterdam this time last year hosting canal tours, living working with my friend who owns some cocktail bars at the Ziggo Dome and Afas (their biggest music venues). I was hosting 4-5 hour long tours around Amsterdam daily telling stories of its notable historical and modern architecture while serving only the finest beverages, snacks, and whimsical comedic value.

Skateboarding has been in my life for as long as I can remember! I was in 4th grade when I got my first skateboard and my dad taught me pop shuv the very first day. Right there I knew that skateboarding would stay with me. I didnt start taking skating seriously until I was about 14. I then stopped skating at age 16 due to injury but came back to it after highschool, at 19! Since then Ive been more in love with it than I ever have! I would be a great teacher for many reasons! Im always trying to help the kids at my local when I see them struggling because I know what its like. Ive been in that spot where you feel like you cant get better but trust me YOU CAN! I know what its like to get frustrated and not want to keep skating! Ive gone through these things, and Ive conquered them. YOU CAN TOO! If you choose me as your skate coach I can promise you this, you will not only progress rapidly but you will LOVE skateboarding!

Darnell has been giving lessons to friends, family members, and kids at the park as a hobby. I have been skateboarding for 21 years. I have a son that I have been teaching how to skate for the last 4 years. I always willing to give tips and advice to people at the park. I can teach street, transition, or vert skating.

Hey everybody! You probably haven't heard of Logan, the skate teacher, but let me tell you. This guy knows his stuff. Logan is awesome. When we skate, not only does he give detailed instructions for what he is teaching, but he adds little historical facts about the sport or who created some tricks. Not only am I getting to know the sport itself, but about the sport. Where it came from, how it developed. He is always on time for lessons and doesn't mind spending time on a trick or subject that a student has difficulty with. Logan arrives with a positive attitude and the student leaves with one and a couple of moves to go home with. Overall this is a dude to learn from.
