Veteran Instructor Jayden M. — Phoenix, Arizona

Arizona local but have also skated in Florida. Im 22 and love the culture surrounding skateboarding. I started skating when I was around 16 and havent stopped since. I started learning street then ventured into transition skating then eventually fell in love with vert skating. Recently I have gotten a pretty solid amount of flip tricks down including Casper heel and hardflip. So im a lot more confident and comfortable in my skills as well as teaching someone. I think I'm a good teacher because I've been told I can be. I like to use metaphors and examples and really any kind of way to get a point across to people. Ive been able to teach people older than me how to do the same work I do as well as teaching someone younger how to get a grip on things. As much as I encourage and push people to be better. I also respect them and their limits. And know when to fall back or try a different approach.

Veteran Instructor Blue P. — Glendale, Arizona

I go by Blue- I've been on a board for almost 30 years and know quite a lot of people in the scene. I was sponsored by a local shop in El Mirage AZ when I was 17. From even when I was sponsored to now one thing has always remained MY LOVE for skateboarding as a whole & MY CARE for skateboarders, especially people getting into it. I made a skate crew that's all about being a good person and a skateboarder as well. I'm self-taught as a lot of people where I'm from yes we're very good but back then it came with an elitist attitude and I got into skating because it was creative, fun, and hey I think we all can agree it just looks cool. With that being said I'm very big on punk rock & which means treating everyone with respect and sharing the good times on a board. I have always gone out of my way to teach kids at parks fundamentals so they have less of a chance of getting hurt and keep them having fun with skateboarding. People would say I'm helpful, a good teacher, and caring,& that I always want everyone to have a good time. Also, I have a unique skate approach.

Veteran Instructor Connor T. — Peoria, Arizona

I was very moldable-minded at a young age and I just would always ask someone who was better how they do the things they do, foot placement, where to flick, balance, etc. and through the years I got better on my own, and took all the tutelage I could. I always wished there was someone I could talk to and keep the same energy as last time but everyone skates differently. So you learn this HUGE melting pot of information from so many people it's hard to really focus on the trick and more "Did he say put my foot here? Etc." if someone could have that consistent person or consistent like-minded people to teach them the basics and keep it less complicated for someone already learning something so challenging (but so fun) I really have a passion for skateboarding and would love to be the person I wish was available for me when I was younger or even first learning. I could never blunt slide an 8-stair handrail but I always applied myself to skateboarding and got the essentials down and I still progress daily. I have open availability.

Veteran Instructor Victor B. — Phoenix, Arizona

Victor has given lessons to his younger brother and a few friends on how to land certain tricks, both basic and advanced. He enjoys teaching kids the basics such as Ollies first then getting them ready to learn their Fakie switch and Nollie. Then from there, he would teach them how to ride transition. Victor would like to give pointers also to anyone who has more experience because a lot of kids want to rush into big tricks before they really learn the basics or fundamentals.
