LEARN SKATEBOARDING IN A WEEK-LONG SCHOOL

Skateboarding is a pastime activity, an art form, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been designed and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the years. A 2002 report by American Sports Data discovered that there are 18.5 million skateboarders in the world. 85 percent of skaters polled had used a board in the last year were under the age of 18, and 74 percent were male. Those numbers have have doubled since the time of the study. In the ensuing years the physical locations of skate parks tripled making skateboarding more accessible as privately owned parks and indoor parks are coming into the picture.

The most significant change has been the generation that skated in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the worldwide mainstream of competitive sports and sees it as a participation activity for their children led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.

Do you want to learn how to skateboard?

Learn all of the fundamentals of skateboarding fast in a one-week camp. We will show you the principles of skateboarding like how to balance, push, turn, proper foot placement, and how to stop. Regardless, of where you are at.. you can benefit from individualized instruction to meet your skill level.

How to Start:

Equipment: We recommend a board and a full set of safety gear. This includes: a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards. Rental equipment is available.
Location: We can do lessons in your driveway, in your garage, or at the West Chester skate park.

Ability: Beginner through Competition-Style Advanced.

spring — Meet Vale, Shea, and Wren, three budding skateboarders from Spring City, PA (with ages 8, 8, and 11), diving into the exciting world of skateboarding with private lessons led by seasoned instructor Joseph S. from West Chester! Tailored specifically for beginners, this program covers everything from the fundamentals to mastering street tech and even getting comfortable at the skatepark. With each session filled with laughter and excitement, these kids are not just having a blast but are also progressing rapidly in their skateboarding skills. Watch out, world—these young shredders are on their way to greatness!
