According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 3.5 square miles (9.1 km), all land.

There were 338 housing units at an average density of 97.4 per square mile (37.6/km²). The racial makeup of the village was 77.05% White, 21.49% African American, 0.73% Native American, 0.44% from other races, and 0.29% from two or more races.
