According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 38.4 square miles (99 km), of which, 35.6 square miles (92 km) of it is land and 2.8 square miles (7.3 km) of it (7.40%) is water.
As of the census of 2000, there were 69 people, 30 households, and 21 families residing in the town. The population density was 1.9 people per square mile (0.7/km²). There were 108 housing units at an average density of 3.0 per square mile (1.2/km²). The racial makeup of the town was 100.00% White.
