Groveport is a City in Franklin County, Ohio, United States. The population was 5,363 at the 2010 census.
Groveport was the hometown of John Solomon Rarey, a 19th century horse whisperer, and developer of the Rarey technique for rehabilitating horses. This method was the basis for the novel and motion picture The Horse Whisperer.
Groveport is located at 39°51′22″N 82°53′26″W / 39.85611°N 82.89056°W / 39.85611; -82.89056 (39.856163, -82.890544).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 8.0 square miles (21 km), of which, 8.0 square miles (21 km) of it is land and 0.12% is water.
As of the census of 2000, there were 3,865 people, 1,575 households, and 1,080 families residing in the village. The population density was 482.9 people per square mile (186.5/km²). A 2023 report by American Sports Data uncovered there are 18.5 million skate boarders in the world. 85 percent of skaters polled had used a board in the last year were under the age of eighteen, and 74 % were male. Those numbers have have doubled since the time of the study. In the coming years the physical locations of skate parks have more than tripled making it more accessible as privately owned skate parks and indoor skate parks are becoming a reality.

The most significant change has been the generation bubble that skateboarded in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the world wide mainstream of competitive sports and sees it as a participation sport for their children as led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.
