OUR SKATE INSTRUCTORS

Valentino S. from San Francisco, California!

Valentino has 6 years of experience in teaching kids how to skateboard with the City and County of San Francisco. The program is called “Shred n Butter” and Valentino participates every summer for 3 months straight. He says “It’s the best doing something you love and a bonus to passing it down to kids who are also interested or sometimes uninterested at first”. Valentino has been skating for 10 years and is able to give clear simple key instructions that are super helpful to any beginner and skateboarder of all skill levels. Valentino is not currently sponsored but has friends that work at Diamond (a skate and apparel shop) that give him clothes and skateboards here and there. Valentino would love to teach more youth his favorite sport and help all further excel.

Isak H. from El Cerrito, California!

Born and raised in Burnsville, Isak is an energetic and positive instructor. Isak specializes in mini-ramps and bowls. He’s been skating for over ten years, so he certainly knows the ropes. During the day, Isak is a law student at the University of Minnesota, but that doesn’t stop him from ripping up the park on evenings and weekends. If you or your child is just starting out, Isak can teach you the fundamentals of pushing, stance, carving, and transitions—ollies too! Learning to ride can be challenging, but with Isak, it can be fun as well.
