OUR SKATE INSTRUCTORS
Sean P. from Salt Lake City, Utah!
Has had roughly twelve years of skateboarding experience, having been taught basics by a skateboard instructor at a young age and going to skateparks independently since age 10. Has additional teaching experience from spending a semester in Milan, Italy, tutoring English to young children and teens. Can skate flat ground, transition, rails and ledges, manny pads, and bowls. Can set up a board properly and is familiar with local shops, parks, and scenes.
Joe F. from Midvale, Utah!
I am truly passionate about the sport while maintaining a strong career in civil engineering over the last 4 years. Working with interns and new hires during my time as a civil engineer has given me a good perspective on helping others with less experience. I think that coupled with my 15+ years of experience skateboarding would make me a great candidate to teach lessons
IMPROVE YOUR SKATEBOARDING IN A WEEK-LONG SCHOOL
Skateboarding is a recreational activity, a work of art, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been shaped and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the years. A 2023 survey and study by American Sports Data uncovered that there were 18.5 million skateboarders in the world. 85 percent of skaters polled had used a skateboard in the last year were under the age of eighteen, and 74 percent were male. Those numbers have doubled since then. In the following years the skate parks have more than tripled making it more accessible as privately owned parks and indoor parks are coming into the picture.
The largest change has been the developed generation bubble that skated in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the worldwide mainstream of competitive sports and sees it as a natural participation sport for their children led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.
