DISCOVER SKATEBOARDING IN A 7 DAY LESSON
Skateboarding is a pastime activity, a work of art, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been shaped and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the years. A 2023 report by American Sports Data discovered that there are 18.5 million skate boarders in the world. 85 percent of skateboarders polled had used a board in the previous year were under the age of 18, and 74 % were male. Those numbers have doubled since then. In the coming years the locations of skate parks tripled making skateboarding more accessible as privately owned parks and indoor parks are becoming a reality.
The largest change has been the developed generation bubble that skated in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the global mainstream of competitive sports and now sees it as a natural participation activity for their children led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.

OUR SKATE INSTRUCTORS
Peter C. from Dayton, Ohio!
Peter is a positive and outgoing person, with a high patience level and a love for skateboarding. Teaching someone how to skate is not foreign to him. He learned to skate as a young kid, 8 years old to be exact. He won his first skate competition at age 11. And to this day he’s still athletic and in good condition to skate the day away. He’s excited to have an opportunity to show anyone how to do something he loves!
Jacob S. from Clayton, Ohio!
I have been skateboarding for twelve years and I am twenty-one years old. I have been a skate instructor contracted through Appleton Parks and Recreation department for three years teaching group lessons; as far as putting students into groups with other students at their skill level, developing a curriculum for each group of students, and then fulfilling the curriculum and evolving it as lessons go on. I have taught multiple private lessons at skateparks and skate shops. I have been associated and riding with Surfin Bird Skate Shop (located at 222 E College Avenue Appleton, WI) for five years. I have released three video parts with Surfin Bird. My most recent being “Back in Five” which can be viewed on YouTube.
