Customer Service Policies

At GoSkate.com, our mission is to make learning to skateboard safe, fun, and easy for every student. We are committed to providing excellent service, fair policies, and transparent communication.

This page summarizes our Customer Service Policies, including refunds, guarantees, scheduling, and how to reach our support team.

1. Lesson Satisfaction Guarantee

We want you to love your experience with GoSkate.
If you are not completely satisfied after your first private lesson, contact us within 48 hours of that session, and we will do our best to make it right — including offering a replacement instructor or a credit toward another lesson package.
Refunds or credits are subject to management approval and may take up to 10 business days to process.

2. Refund Policy

  • Refund requests must be submitted in writing within 30 days of purchase.
  • Lessons already taken or scheduled are not eligible for refunds.
  • Packages that include discounts (multi-lesson or bundle deals) are partially refundable only for unused lessons, calculated at the regular hourly rate (not the discounted rate).
  • Refunds are not issued for no-shows, late cancellations, or expiration of unused lessons after 12 months.
We strive to be fair and transparent in all cases, and we’ll always do our best to resolve issues quickly.

3. Scheduling & Cancellations

  • Lessons can be rescheduled by contacting your instructor or our scheduling team at least 24 hours in advance.
  • Lessons canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged in full.
  • If an instructor cancels a lesson, we will promptly reschedule at your convenience or assign a replacement instructor.
  • In cases of bad weather, lessons can be rescheduled with no penalty.

4. Safety & Liability

All students (or parents/guardians for minors) must sign our Lesson Agreement and Liability Waiver prior to the first session.
Safety gear — helmet, knee pads, elbow pads, and wrist guards — is strongly recommended and may be required by your instructor or local laws.

5. Lesson Expiration

Prepaid lessons must be used within 12 months of the purchase date.
Expired lessons cannot be refunded or extended without written approval from management.

6. Instructor Performance Guarantee

We stand behind our instructors.
Every GoSkate instructor has been screened, background-checked, and trained in our teaching methodology.
If a student ever feels that the instructor was unprofessional or unprepared, please report it immediately — we will review the case and take corrective action as needed.
